‘Love Tactics’ Ending, Explained

Some people claim that one finds love when one least expects it. Any minute could be the time. Being in love and believing you are in love are two distinct emotions. The latter is when you realize you've found true love. A Turkish romantic comedy called "Love Tactics" tells the love story of two egotists and self-styled love gurus who meet by chance and fall in love as if it were fated.

When Two Amateur Love Experts Are Challenged

The age of Asli, a fashion designer, is 28. She represents a major fashion company and is successful. She might serve as the model for young, wealthy, and successful city girls. She has a hobby in addition to her professional employment that she pursues with a similar amount of passion: blogging. She publishes "Love Tactics," a blog on dating and relationships.

She frequently gives dating and relationship tips and advise. When there is a relationship issue, even her friends always turn to her. Asli calls herself an expert on love, but the truth is that she has never experienced falling in love. She is fascinated when one of her fans inquires about whether she has ever used her dating strategies in her personal relationships. She realizes she has never done that and her friends challenge her to make a guy fall in love with her using the tactics. Ambitious Asli accepts the challenge and informs her followers as well.

Kerem is a playboy and a 30-year-old advertising specialist. He is infamous for having one-night encounters with girls and then ignoring them. His pals had never thought of his falling in love or having someone else fall in love with him. Too uninterested to do that is Kerem.

Like Asli, he has very skewed ideas about men and how to court women. When a project he has been working on for a while is given to his buddy and coworker Tuna, the two make a wager that if Tuna can persuade a girl to fall in love with him, he will receive his project back. Kerem agrees to the challenge since he has a macho persona that he thinks will always be attractive to women. Two self-proclaimed love experts are about to cross paths to create a fake love story. What will their ego-driven love story turn out to be?

How Do Asli & Kerem Fall In Their Own Trap?

In search of a target, Asli and Kerem are at the same party. Asli and her companions are seeking for a simple target when they notice Kerem examining Asli. Asli has been chosen by Kerem's pals so that he might court her and win her heart. Kerem begins to gently flirt with Asli, and she immediately calls out every cliché he uses in their game of romantic chess.

It is planned coincidence that they will do next. Even though their planned coincidence doesn't work out, a true coincidence brings them together again.

They happen to run into each other after a business party and decide to go out to dinner. Asli is impressed by Kerem's tried-and-true methods, but she is too familiar with them and makes fun of him for trying them on her.

As a result of the continuing coincidences, Kerem's childhood home in Cappadocia is where they ultimately land. Asli observes Kerem differently in his hometown than she did as a playboy in the city. There, he has real connections with the individuals he cares about. She also learns about his parents' terrible passing. When Kerem was still a little child, his mother abandoned him and his father. Shortly after, his father also passed away, leaving Kerem all by himself. Kerem lacked the presence of love in his life while growing up. His mom didn’t come for him even after his father passed away, and he still holds a pitiful grudge against her for that.

Asli acknowledges that she is too harsh on Kerem. She viewed him via stereotypical biases. She is unknowingly departing from her own ideas. She is being forced to alter her perception of men by Kerem. Kerem is sharing his extremely private life with a girl for the first time. They hold off on making a move after recognizing how committed they have become in one another in such a short period of time.

They are beginning to feel anything for the first time as they get to know one another better. They are unable to comprehend that emotion. Maybe they are falling in love, but will they understand and accept it? Their task was to make the other fall in love rather than for themselves.

‘Love Tactics’ Ending, Explained

It's time to make the decisive move now that they have returned from Cappadocia. Asli has been updating her blog readers on everything while adopting the alias "Mr. K" for Kerem, and by some miracle, the enigmatic Mr. K becomes popular online. Everyone is watching to see if he will fall in love with Asli as their story goes viral. But Kerem is completely unaware of it.

He invites Asli over to his house for dinner. What was supposed to be a lovemaking session after dinner turns into a profound conversation that puts them closer together than before. They realise they've fallen in love this time.

Kerem admits to his buddies that he has fallen in love after accepting the fact. Asli, on the other hand, is still perplexed and learns from friends that it was Kerem who abandoned her buddy after a one-night stand. She now has an excuse to temper her feelings of adoration. In the heat of the moment, she publicly humiliates Kerem and rejects his confession of love. Asli is a perfect illustration of how social media can take over one's life. Because she didn't want her reputation as the "Love Guru" to be damaged, she suppressed her true emotions. She wrecked not just her life but also Kerem's because of that.

Her boss, who is also Kerem's one-sided love, fires Asli. Because of the incident, Kerem must always wear a face mask. Nevertheless, he consents to travel to London with Asli's boss under the condition that she regain her position. Asli shuts down her blog and tries to stop Kerem from departing, like a clichéd and stereotyped love story that Asli never desired. Asli and Kerem eventually bond after much trouble is made.

The narrative of "Love Tactics" develops, holding your interest in the beginning but disappointing you at the end. The younger generation of the wealthy and dishonest is represented by Asli and Kerem. They have given up on love but are driven by their profession. Clichés like "Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you cars, clothes, etc." come to life through them. You'll think, like their buddies, that they'll never fall in love. They do, though, and they get along well.

They are falling in love gradually, and at no point does it seem forced or hurried. However, Asli publicly humiliates Kerem online in front of all of Turkey, but he is too ready to pardon her after reading a final letter on her blog. Without any further questioning, all of this. The movie feels quite realistic throughout, but the conclusion deflates it. Although it's nice to see a happy ending, a conclusion that was easily achieved didn't fit with the rest of the film. Most of the time, "Love Tactics" is scenic and interesting, making it a watchable film.
